But then, you realize that it's not really hilarious. It's just plain terrible. And the laughter you felt morphs into a groan.
After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of bewilderment. You start ruminating about the purpose of it all. Was this intended to be funny?
Or were we just simply unfortunate enough to witness this spectacle unfold?
A Disaster of Epic Proportions
The tsunami struck suddenly, destroying entire towns in its path. Buildings collapsed like sandcastles, and the screams that followed was deafening. Thousands were left beneath wreckage, their fate unknown. The severity of the disaster was unprecedented, leaving survivors to face a future forever altered.
Rescue operations sprang into action, fighting against time and dangerous conditions to locate those still trapped. The world watched in horror as the full magnitude of the disaster became apparent, offering prayers to the stricken population.
Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a terrible case of terrible hair. I couldn't make it to look presentable. As I was scrambling out the door, I trippedon and landed all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally behind schedule for a very important appointment.
I arrived. My {boss|teacher|was absolutely furious. I attempted to explain, but it was no use.
The rest of the day was just as bad. fell apart. I couldn'tthink straight.
By the time I reached my destination, I was exhausted. This day, this atrocious day will be forever remembered as a true disaster.
